Gigacomm ‘Win $1,000’ Promotion

1. Promoter

The promoter is Gigacomm Pty Ltd (ABN 77 630 583 998) of 2/2 Meaden Street, Southbank, VIC, 3006 (“Promoter”).

 

2. Promotion Period

The promotion commences at 12:00am AEST on 1 April 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 17 May 2026 (“Promotion Period”).

 

3. Eligibility

Entry is only open to:

• Residents of New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland, Australia;

• Aged 18 years or over;

• Residing in a participating and serviceable Gigacomm apartment building (as determined by the Promoter); and

• Both existing Gigacomm customers and non-customers.

Employees of the Promoter, related business partners (including building owners and managers), and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.

 

4. How to Enter

To enter, eligible entrants must during the Promotion Period:

• Complete the online entry form;

• Provide their first name, last name, valid email address, and mobile phone number; and

• Submit the form.

 

By submitting the form, entrants consent to being contacted by the Promoter’s Customer Team by phone or email for the purposes of administering this promotion (including winner notification). This is a condition of entry.

 

Entrants may also separately elect to receive marketing communications from the Promoter by ticking the optional marketing opt-in checkbox on the entry form. Ticking this box is entirely voluntary and is not a condition of entry or of winning the prize. See clause 11.2 for further details.

 

Limit one (1) entry per person.

 

5. Prize

There is one (1) prize available: AUD $1,000 (paid via digital gift card).

Total prize pool value: AUD $1,000.

The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as a cash alternative unless specified by the Promoter.

 

6. Draw and Winner Selection

This is a game of chance. The draw will take place at the Promoter’s office on 25 May 2026.

The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received.

 

7. Winner Notification and Publication

The winner will be notified by phone and email by 1 June 2026.

If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 28 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw.

The winner’s first name and suburb will be published on the Promoter’s website (gigacomm.com.au) for a minimum of 28 days following the draw, as required under the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 (Vic).

 

8. Verification

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants, including proof of identity, age, and residency within a participating building. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent will be deemed invalid.

 

9. Participating Buildings

Only residents of selected buildings that are serviceable by Gigacomm at the time of entry are eligible. The Promoter’s decision regarding eligibility is final. Participating buildings are:

NSW : 2A & 2B Help St, Chatswood

VIC : 25 & 28 Wills St, Melbourne

 

10. No Obligation to Purchase

Entry is free. There is no obligation to purchase or connect to a Gigacomm service to enter or win.

 

11. Privacy

 

11.1 Competition administration consent

By entering this promotion, entrants consent to the following for the purposes of administering the promotion:

• Their personal information (name, email address and mobile phone number) will be collected and used by the Promoter to verify eligibility, conduct the draw, and notify and announce the winner;

• They may be contacted by the Promoter’s Customer Team by phone and email for competition administration purposes (including winner notification); and

• Their personal information will be handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available at www.gigacomm.net.au.

 

11.2 Marketing communications (optional)

Entrants who tick the marketing opt-in checkbox on the entry form separately consent to receiving future marketing communications from the Promoter about its products and services. This consent:

• Is entirely voluntary and is not a condition of entering or winning;

• Covers communications by email, SMS and/or telephone from Gigacomm Pty Ltd only; and

• May be withdrawn at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or SMS, or by contacting the Promoter at service@gigacomm.net.au. Unsubscribe requests will be actioned within 5 business days.

The Promoter will not rely on marketing consent obtained under this promotion for more than 24 months from the date of collection without refreshing that consent.

 

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for:

• Any technical issues, delays, or failures affecting entry submission; or

• Any loss or damage suffered in connection with the promotion or prize.

 

13. General

The Promoter reserves the right to:

• Cancel, suspend, or modify the promotion if required by law or unforeseen circumstances; and

• Disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or breaches these Terms and Conditions.

The Promoter’s decision on all matters relating to the promotion is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights that entrants may have under applicable state or territory legislation, including the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 (Vic), the Community Gaming Act 2018 (NSW), and the Charitable and Non-Prof
